Battlefront's Campaign to Combat Youth Unemployment joined up with Media Trust and Latimer Creative Media to give a group of young people the opportunity to produce a film about youth unemployment. The young people were supported by Director Delyth Thomas through Media Trust's mentoring scheme funded by the Jack Petchey Foundation. Marcus was part of a group that produced this film: "The idea was to try and raise awareness about youth unemployment by using spoken word. Our film is directed at sending a message to the government and to small businesses that could offer young people work experience and hopefully jobs. We used spoken word because it's not really out there yet - it's a new form - there is still lots of undiscovered talent. Our inspiration came from people like George The Poet that speak about what's really happening out there. Youth unemployment is affecting people that I know and it's time people took notice.''
